Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published a notification for the recruitment of the 782 Civil Service (Preliminary) Examination 2018.Eligible Indian Nationals may apply online From 07-02-2108 to 06-03-2018 till 6:00 pm.Other details such as Educational Qualification,Last date,how to apply are given below.Candidates who are interested can apply by following the instruction.

Vacancy Details :

• Name of the exam : Civil Service (Prelims) Examination 
• No of Posts : 782 posts.

Educational Qualification :

• Candidates should have a degree of any University incorporated by an act of the Central or state legislature in India or other Educational Institution established by an act of the parliament declared or declared to be deemed as the University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commision act 1956 or posses an Equivalent qualification.

Age Limit :

• Candidates age should be between 21 to 32 yrs as on 01-08-2018.i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1986 and not later than 01-08-1997.Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Selection Process :

Candidates are selected based on the 

• Preliminary Exam,
• Main Exam 
• Interview.

Application Fee :

• Applicants Required to pay Rs.100/- through Net Banking, Online mode or also can deposit in the bank.
• No fees for the female/SC/ST/Persons with benchmark disabilities.

How to Apply :

• Before applying candidates should have to scan photo and signature in .jpg format with file not exceeding 40 KB each and not less than 3 KB for photo and 1 KB for Signature.
• Candidates should have valid and active Email Id.
• Log on to the website www.upsconline.nic.in
• Click on the link "Online application for various Examination of UPSC"
• Select the appropriate Post and Click on "Click here (Part I)"
• Fill all the mandatory details like name,gender,etc and click on continue.
• System will generate Registration Id,Retain it for the future use.
• Make the payments as mentioned in the application fee and and retain the Information to be entered in the Part II registration.
• Again Relogin and click the "Click Here (Part II)"
• Log in by using the registration Id & date of Birth.
• Fill all the required details and Upload scanned photo and Signature and click on the "Submit" button.
• After the submission take the print out for the further use.
